Kris Humphries isn’t making this divorce so easy on his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian.
According to sources, Kris’ lawyer Lee Hutton wants to prove Kim just married the NBA player for “big ratings on her reality show”.
Wierd thing is, Kris and Lee will allegedly ask the judge to allow TV stations to broadcast the trial.
Kim filed divorce papers back in October, listing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind their split. Kris is trying to get the marriage annulled based on fraud.
TMZ reports Kris may have no ground to stand on because:
1.) The prenup between Kim and Kris is “extremely long and complicated” , indicating that she intended to stay in it for the long-run
2.) Kris proposed to HER
3.) He’s been made (semi) famous and marketable, giving him the chance to make millions of dollars
Seems like unecessary drama. Many of us thought the Kardashian Klan would make Kris look like the bad guy on Kourtney and Kim Take New York this season, but that wasn’t the case at all.
To be honest, they showed the good and bad on both sides of the relationship. Things just didn’t work out for these two!

Kim Kardashian co-hosted Live! With Kelly yesterday, where she opened up about the backlash she received after filing for divorce from Kris Humphries.
Despite various reports, the socialite insisted she made no money from her televised wedding.
Kim said:
“If you really think about (it), if this was a business decision and I really made all that money that everyone was claiming that we made off this wedding, and if the wedding was fake and just for TV – I’m a smart businesswoman, I would have stayed married longer. This was a bad business decision. If you really think about it, it doesn’t make sense that everyone says that. I really didn’t think that following my heart would create this much backlash.”
So…it must be hard for the 31-year-old to watch her relationship unravel on the current season of Kourtney and Kim Take New York, right? Think again! Kim actually finds it “therapeutic”.

It was his first TV interview since the end of his 72-day marriage, and Kris Humphries took all steps possible to avoid answering questions about his union with Kim Kardashian.
He spoke about moving forward and focusing on what he loves:
“Through everything, I’m just focused on family and preparing for basketball. For me, it’s just, certain things happen in life and you’ve got to move forward. I’m excited to be where I’m at right now, with the NBA season coming up.”
When asked about his request to have the marriage annulled, Kris answered:
“Really, right now, I’m focused on basketball, and other things will take care of themselves.”.
As for having his love life played out on camera, the NBA player is not one to watch the new season of Kourtney and Kim Take New York:
“The only things I really watch on TV of myself is playing basketball. I’ve never been someone to really watch the show on TV or anything like that. I don’t really play into all the gossip.”

Kris Humphries is severely against getting a divorce from Kim Kardashian, and has filed for an annulment of their marriage instead.
According to sources, the NBA player wants to “wipe the slate clean by erasing” their union.
In order for the judge to grant an annulment, legal experts say Kris needs to prove with “clear and convincing evidence” that Kim defrauded him into marrying her.
If his request is refused, Kris will ask for legal separation that will extend indefinitely.
Things are getting messy!

The season premiere of Kourtney & Kim Take New York didn’t show Kris Humphries in the most postive light, and he’s reportedly disappointed with how he was portrayed.
Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kris back on October 31st after just 72-days of marriage. Sunday’s episode gave us an inside look at what seemed to have gone wrong in their relationship.
First of all, Kris mocked Kim’s weight by saying she ate too much wedding cake. He also farted in Kourtney’s face and played rough with his new bride in front of the cameras.
According to a source, the NBA free agent watched the episode in “utter horror” because it wasn’t a “true depiction” about what was going on between the couple at that time:
“Kris did jokingly say that Kim ate too much wedding cake, but what viewers didn’t see was Kim nagging Kris about working. There was nothing he could do about the NBA lockout, he was working out, and getting ready for the upcoming season, and he is a free agent. It was actually Kim’s idea that Kris go back to Minnesota to train and give them some distance. Kris wasn’t getting any sleep at all with Mason’s playroom literally set up outside their bedroom door. It made no sense for Mason’s play area to be on the second floor of the suite Kim, Kris, Scott and Kourtney were staying in. Scott and Kourtney were staying downstairs, and Scott felt that the producers of the show were just trying to provoke him into reactions.”
The drama sure did pull in ratings – 3.2 million viewers tuned in to watch Kourtney and Kim Take New York .

In a new preview for Kourtney and Kim Take New York, Kris Humphries mocks Kim’s weight!
The clip shows the couple packing for New York, and when Kris goes in to scoop his new bride off her feet, he struggles to pick her up. Kris said:
“God, you ate a lot of wedding cake.”
Ever since the demise of her 72-day marriage, Kim’s momager Kris Jenner has been making an effort to keep her daughter out of the spotlight. A source revealed:
‘They did not anticipate the extreme backlash and the damage it would cause to the K-brand as a whole. The whole empire has been affected by this dumb marriage and Kris Jenner is all about getting paid.”

Sans makeup and her usual high designer duds, Kim Kardashian shielded her face from the paparazzi as she exited the Boom Boom and Beyonce Salon in Beverly Hills yesterday.
The reality TV starlet seems to be taking time out of the limelight to help rehab her image after the demise of her 72-day marriage.
With the season premiere of Kourtney & Kim Take New York quickly approaching, viewers will get an inside look at what went wrong between Kim and her estranged hubby, Kris Humphries.
Kim has full editorial control of the show, so she’s said to be making sure she’s portrayed as a “victim” and Kris as a “lazy insensitive villain”.
A source says:
“Kim was stunned by the amount of bad press and the public relations nightmare she has endured since deciding to file for divorce. Kim will be using the show to attempt to rehab her image. Kim has been telling her inner circle that she has worked very hard to get where she has, and she isn’t going to let her marriage and subsequent decision to divorce Kris Humphries ruin that.”

Just weeks before she filed for divorce from Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian sat down with Marie Claire to talk about her quickie marriage.
The 31-year-old explained why she and her NBA beau decided to tie the knot just 10 months after meeting:
“We felt like, ‘Why wait?’ It’s fun to have a partner who understands your life and lets you be you.”
Though her family initially questioned Humphries’ motives, Kim really thought he was ”the one”:
“I’m not worried about him at all. We have a lot of trust, and I don’t think either of us would do anything to break that. It makes life so easy. He’s such a good guy; he is so down-to-earth, and it’s such a reality check.”
As for why she decided to film a two-part special on E!, titled Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, Kim explained:
“I felt like if I didn’t show the wedding, it would be upsetting for people who have taken this journey with me.”
We all know what happened from there! Just 72-days after she walked down the aisle, Kim decided her heart wasn’t in it for the long run. She and Kris officially called it quits on October 31st, and Kim continues to defend the fact she married for love…NOT for reality TV.
