Are Miley Cyrus And Demi Lovato Joining ‘X Factor’?

With so much buzz surrounding Britney Spears’ alleged deal on Simon Cowell’s X Factor, we almost forgot there was a fourth judging spot that has yet to be filled!

According to E! News, producers on FOX’s hit show are eyeing 19-year-old Miley Cyrus for the gig.

Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter says former Disney darling Demi Lovato is also rumored to be in the running.

They better start sorting out the details of their contracts, and soon, because the judges’ audition rounds are scheduled to begin at the end of May.

Demi Lovato Avoiding Acting Gigs

Back in 2010, Demi Lovato checked in rehab to help deal with several issues, including an eating disorder.

Since then, the singer/actress decided to stay away from any movie projects in fear that they’d cause her to become self-conscience again.

She told Britain’s You magazine:

“I know that I could be in a fragile state of mind if I go back in front of the camera; I’m not really confident enough. The camera adds 10 pounds and I feel like I have too many tattoos right now to go back on screen. I want to act again if they can find a way to cover my tattoos and one day I’d love to be respected as an actress.”

It’s great Demi is doing what she needs to in order to live a healthy lifestyle!

Demi Lovato Debuts New ‘Do

Demi Lovato changed her hairstyle yet again, sharing a photo of her new ‘do on twitter.

Lovato wrote:

“Thank you SO much Nine Zero One salon for my new locks.”

Going from red to blonde was an 11 hour process at the salon. She later added:

“Haha Demi Blondevato is a trending topic?!! Y’all are funny!”

Do you like Demi as a brunette, red-head, or a blonde? She seems to be able to pull them all off!

Demi Lovato Is Not Going Back To Rehab

Demi Lovato is constantly preaching about sobriety and the importance of staying positive, so it definitely came as a surprise when BlindGossip.com reported she checked into Passages treatment center for help with alcohol and cocaine addiction.

Now, we’ve learned the whole story was just the result of some creative writing!

Her rep tells Perez Hilton:

“The story was fabricated. It is completely untrue.”

Just last week, Demi decided to take a twitter break, so we’re not sure if she’ll let her fans know herself that she’s A-ok.

Demi Lovato Hopes To Inspire Young Girls

Demi Lovato hopes that making her personal problems public will encourage young fans to seek help with difficulties they may have.

When asked by AOL Music why she was so vocal about her struggles, Demi responded:

“Because I know that if I can use my voice to speak to one person, or one family, then I’ve done my part. I feel like it’s no coincidence that God put me through all of this and has also given me the voice that I have. I feel like my purpose on earth is much greater than just being a singer, a musician or actress. I think it’s to reach out to people and to raise awareness of these issues that not many people speak about.”

The 18-year-old continued:

“I would love to see people get help for the issues that I’ve spoken about and see me as an example and say, ‘Wow, there is a life outside of this addiction or this eating disorder.’ I think for me, if it prevents somebody from going down the path that I did, or if it saves someone’s life because they choose to get help, then I’ve done my part.”

Demi, who suffers from bipolar disorder, says her recovery is an “ongoing process”.

She’s looking great these days!

Don’t believe everything you read! Despite reports that claim otherwise, Demi Lovato is not dating Ryan Phillippe.
 
A source says:
“This is not true. He’s totally single.”
Phillippe must be too wrapped up in his own drama these days. Though he neither confirmed nor denied he’s the daddy to ex-girlfriend Alexis Knapp’s baby, the actor was in the delivery room when she gave birth earlier this month!
