J.R. Martinez Wins ‘DWTS’!

Ricki Lake was eliminated early on in last nights Dancing with the Stars finale, so it was J.R. Martinez and Rob Kardashian who fought until the end for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy.

The two finalists had to perform an impromptu samba routine to Ricky Martin’s song, Shake Your Bon Bon. They both earned perfect 30’s for their performances, but once the viewers’ votes where added in, it was J.R. Martinez who took home the crown.

After the winners were announced, his dancing pro partner Karina Smirnoff started crying! J.R. told her:

“You are amazing, and I’m so grateful I was able to be a part of your first mirror-ball trophy.”

Rob was still thrilled to be runner up, saying “I won in my book”! Love his positive attitude.

Hope Solo Voted Off ‘DWTS’

Hope Solo was voted off Dancing with the Stars last night.

The soccer player said:

“This competition is one of the toughest competitions I’ve ever been a part of. Instead of trying to win a mirror-ball trophy, I’m going to try to win a gold medal this summer at the Olympics.”

Her partner, dancing pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy, added:

“I’m sorry, I wish I could have done better for you. But it is what it is.”

Ricki Lake, Rob Kardashian and J.R. Martinez all made it through to compete in next week’s finale.

Who would you like to see take home the Mirrorball Trophy this year? We have to admit, Rob has actually proved to be a good dancer!

Maksim’s Heated Words On ‘DWTS’

It was Broadway night on Dancing with the Stars Monday, and while being critiqued by the judges, Maksim Chmerkovskiy had a few words for Len Goodman!

The dancing pro and his partner Hope Solo performed the rumba to “Seasons of Love” from Rent, earning 20 out of 30 points for their routine. After they finished, Len said:

“Hope, I’ve never lost faith in you. I always feel like there is so much there, and for some reason it hasn’t come out. This is your worst dance of the season in my opinion.”

When Maksim started to argue his comments, Len reminded him:

“I’ve been in this business for 50 years.”

Chmerkovskiy ‘s response? -  “Then maybe it’s time to go!” YIKES. After bickering back and forth, Maks and Hope were sent off to receive their scores, where he told host Brooke Charvet:

“With all due respect, this is my show. I help make it what it is.”

Both J.R. Martinez and Ricki Lake topped the leaderboard last night, raking in 29 points each for their performances.

Kristin Cavallari Leaves ‘DWTS’

Kristin Cavallari is the latest celeb to get the boot from Dancing with the Stars, even though she earned 24 out of 30 points for her samba routine this week.

The reality TV star and pro dancer Mark Ballas danced to Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love” on Monday night, but they didn’t seem to impress the public.

Kristin admitted she was shocked with the decision, saying:

“I’m a little surprised to be honest, I’ve had such a great time, and I’ve had an awesome experience, so it is what it is.”

Hope Solo was also in the bottom two, and judge Len Goodman couldn’t understand why:

“It’s madness. This is truly crazy. My expectation was that these two couples would be fighting for the final.”

We thought Kristin danced really well! Too bad she didn’t get to stay on the show a little longer.
