Charlie Sheen Apologizes To Ashton Kutcher

Charlie Sheen recently criticized Ashton Kutcher for his performance on Two and a Half Men, saying he was tired of “pretending Ashton doesn’t suck”.

Now, Sheen is calling the comments disrespectful.

In an open letter to TMZ, he writes:

“Dear Ashton, My bad. I was disrespectful to a man doing his best. I got excited and I threw you into the crossfire, but the rest of my statement I stand behind. You however, deserve better. Safety in your travels good sir. CS”

Ashton stepped in on Two and a Half Men last year after Charlie’s very public meltdown.

Charlie Harper Is Never Comin’ Back!

Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre took great measures to make sure Charlie Sheen is a goner .

During last nights season premiere, we learned his character Charlie Harper fell in front of an oncoming train and that his body exploded like a “balloon full of meat”.

Charlie Sheen Banking $25 Million Settlement

Charlie Sheen will not only get his $25 million settlement with Warner Bros. for his work on Two and a Half Men, but over time, he’ll get FIVE TIMES that amount!

TMZ reports Charlie shot about 180 episodes for the show, which will produce over $100 million for the actor in the next 7-10 years in syndication alone.

Sidenote: did anyone catch the season premiere of the new Two and a Half Men last night?

Denise Richards Calls Hooker Dinner “Insane”

Denise Richards thought it was nice of ex-husband Charlie Sheen to invite her out to a meal in NYC last October, but things quickly took a turn for the worse!

For those who don’t remember, the evening ended with Charlie allegedly drunk, on drugs and attacking porn star Capri Anderson in his Plaza Hotel room.

Denise told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show:

“I was actually in New York to do press and brought my girls a couple of days early, he was off and thought it would be fun to all of us to go. I thought it was sweet because at the time, I thought he was in a different place entertainment wise of what he does in his free time.I did not know who was going to be at the table. When I found out I thought, ‘I can be cool about this, I can hang’, then things got a little crazy and colorful so I left the table. Then when things got really crazy it turned into a whole different thing.”

She continued:

“I think the police officer on the scene was a little dumbfounded about why I was at dinner with my ex-husband and four hookers. I was so nonchalant about it! Charlie had to be taken to the hospital and I went along. It was a very, very crazy memorable insane evening.”

The actress said she’s now trying to “protect” her girls (Sam and Lola) from the information regarding their father’s very public meltdown.

‘Two And A Half Men’ Launches New Campaign

Charlie who? They’ve sure got my attention!

In a new marketing campaign for Two and a Half Men, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones pose nude alongside castmate Ashton Kutcher.

The sign reads:

“All Will Be Revealed”

Two and a Half Men is set to premiere on September 19th. We can wait to see how Ashton makes his debut!

Brooke Doesn’t Want Charlie Roasted

Brooke Mueller is threatening to bring out her lawyers if anyone trashes her during Charlie’s upcoming appearance on Comedy Central Roast.

A source says she wants her name “completely off-limits” when the actor hits the stage on September 10th.

In the couples divorce settlement, Charlie promised not to ever publicly discuss Brooke’s drug use, and her people are even thinking about sending a letter to Comedy Central to reinforce that. Yet, a rep from the network says:

“Charlie has assured us that nothing will be off limits in this Roast which scares even us.”

We smell a lawsuit.

DONE DEAL: Ashton Joins “Two And A Half Men”

CBS and Warner Bros. officially announced today that Ashton Kutcher will be joining Two and a Half Men. Ashton released the following statement:

“I can’t wait to get to work with this ridiculously talented 2.5 team and I believe we can fill the stage with laughter that will echo in viewers’ homes. I can’t replace Charlie Sheen but I’m going to work my ass off to entertain the hell out of people!”

Chuck Lorre, creator and executive producer of Two and a Half Men, said:

“We are so lucky to have someone as talented, joyful and just plain remarkable as Ashton joining our family. Added to that is the deep sigh of relief knowing that our family stays together.  If I was any happier, it’d be illegal.”

President of CBS Entertainment Nina Tassler added:

“Ashton is a pop culture triple threat—film star, cutting-edge producer and a social media pioneer. He brings creativity, energy and personality to everything he touches.  We are thrilled to have him, and excited beyond words for what he brings to the next season of Two and a Half Men.”

SO exciting! We’re sure the show will remain just as popular as it was before Charlie Sheen lost his marbles.

Report: Ashton Kutcher Joining “Two And A Half Men”

Sources reveal that Ashton Kutcher is finalizing a deal to replace Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men.

CBS, studio Warner Bros. and Kutcher’s rep declined to comment, but the actor will reportedly get a “huge payday” to join the hit sitcom

This would be Ashton’s first regular series since he starred in That 70’s Show on FOX from 1998-2006. For now, Ashton is staying quiet, but did tweet:

“I’m starting to become convinced that people put my name in articles just to improve their SEO or hoping I’ll tweet it.”

Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre is said to be “really happy” about the deal.
