Rihanna hit the stage to perform her singles Talk That Talk and Where Have You Been last night on Saturday Night Live.
Though her voice seemed to be spot on, producers weren’t too pleased RiRi was a no-show for her final rehearsal beforehand.
The songstress decided to call in sick for her practice session (which is done in front of a live audience), and head honcho Lorne Michaels was reportedly angry she bailed last minute.
When Rihanna finally did arrive, insiders say she didn’t appear sick at all.
Still, her rep tells TMZ she “needed to save her voice for the live show”.
Chris Diamantopoulos, Sean Hayes and Will Sasso arrived at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre over the weekend for the Hollwyood premiere of their new film, The Three Stooges.
Dressed up in black suits as Moe, Larry and Curly, the three “brothers” stayed in character on the red carpet with their iconic “nyuk-nyuk’s” and finger-poking.
Other attendees at the event included Jane Lynch, Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Sara Rue.
Kim Kardashian told the Today show this morning that she’s a fan of Kanye West’s new song, Theraflu.
In it, the rapper rips into Kim’s ex-husband, Kris Humphries.
He says:
“And I admit I fell in love with Kim … ‘Round the same time she fell in love with him … That’s cool, babygirl, do your thing … Lucky I ain’t had Jay drop him from the team.”
Kanye, of course, is referring to his good friend Jay Z – who owns the team Humphries plays for, the New Jersey Nets.
In her interview with Ann Curry, Kim was asked about her rumored new relationship with Kanye. She replied:
“I completely respect and understand you have to ask these questions.”
Sticking to the “we’ve been friends for years” story, Kim explained she’s excited for what the future holds for them.
Nick Cannon was hospitalized last December during a family vacation in Aspen. Colorado, where he was diagnosed with acute kidney failure.
The America’s Got Talent host returned to the hospital in February after doctors discovered blood clots in his lungs.
Turns out, Mariah Carey’s husband was suffering from lupus, and has since released a film about his battle with the disease in a documentary series titled NCredible Health Hustle.
Narrating the film, Nick says:
“A few days ago, I was with my family in the snow, playing, having a good time. All of a sudden, I started swelling up, having shortness of breath, excruciating pain in my right side. I wake up in the hospital, a bunch of doctors telling me I’ve got kidney failure… This is my journey. Ups and downs. It’s raw. It’s personal. My setbacks and my triumphs. My pain, my grind, my life.”
Will Ferrell announced on Conan last night that a sequel to the 2004 hit Anchorman is definitely in the works.
Decked out head-to-toe in his Ron Burgundy gear, the actor said:
“I want to announce this to all of our friends in the Americas, Spain, Turkey and the U.K. — including England — that as of oh-nine-hundred hours Mountain Time, Paramount Pictures and myself, Ronald Joseph Aaron Burgundy, have come to terms on a sequel for Anchorman. It is official: There will be a sequel to ‘Anchorman.’”
According to Deadline.com, Burgandy’s “trusty news team” – made up of actors Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and David Koechner – will all be back for the second installment.
