Olivier Martinez Opening French Restaurant In Miami

Halle Berry’s fiance, Olivier Martinez, is opening a French restaurant on South Beach.

He tells People magazine:

“I love the interesting and international people I have met in Miami. So when my friend Michael Martin said he found a space for a restaurant and lounge where we could bring in the best aspects from the South of France, I was excited and wanted to get involved.”

Along with restaurateur Jean-Phillippe Bernard, Olivier and Michael decided to name the hot spot “Villa Azur”.

The menu will include both French and Italian-inspired cuisine, Martin explains:

“Olivier and I love Miami and want to bring the glamour and allure of the South of France to this melting pot of a town.”

Its design is said to consist of antique woods and chandeliers.

Sounds fancy!

5 Tips For Enjoying Your Halloween Candy

Trick-or-treating is fun, but that much sugar can be scary for your teeth. Here are five tips for enjoying your Halloween treats, courtesy of Dr. Singh, funder and CEO of Arch Dental.

1.       Choose candy that melts quickly and can be eaten easily.

2.       Have a glass of water after eating candy to wash away the sugar and neutralize the acid.

3.       Avoid grazing on candy; it increases the time sugars are in contact with tooth enamel.

4.       Have a treat with or after a meal, followed by a thorough tooth-brushing .

5.       Time is of the essence when it comes to teeth and sugar. If not removed by brushing, or swishing with water, sugar from any source can increase the likelihood of cavities.

Love It: Soap and Paper Factory Room Diffuser

To say that I’m obsessed with candles is putting it mildly. Let’s just say I have a “burning” desire to have my apartment smell heavenly 24/7. French vanilla, lavender, apple cinnamon, pumpkin spice…I don’t discriminate when it comes to scents.

As if the fragrance gods were listening, yesterday I received a Soap and Paper Factory Gardenia Room Diffuser. Oil based and environmentally friendly, the sexy glass jar looks pretty in my living room, and the floral smell is delicious and subtle. In other words, the scent doesn’t molest your nose when you walk through the front door! Plus, I don’t have to remember to blow out a candle when I leave the apartment. Now I’m just crossing my fingers that the giant exersaucer my son jumps around in doesn’t bump into something and knock this oil over! (Which I’m sure will happen now that I’ve said it out loud!)

Anyway, I haven’t posted in “Lifestyle” for a while, so I thought I’d give you the 4-1-1 on this easy, and pretty, way to spice up any room. The Soap and Paper Factory’s room diffusers come in seven different scents (like Green Tea and Jasmine) and are $32 a pop on SoapandPaperFactory.com. Check them out!

Megan Fox Comments On Curvy Figure

Megan Fox showed off a healthier figure last month in Los Angeles, and she credits giving up Veganism for helping her gain some needed pounds!

The actress told Amica magazine:

“For a year and a half, until about four months ago, I followed a strict vegan diet based on raw fruits and vegetables. No bread, no sugar and coffee. But I had lost too much weight.”

Her trainer Harley Pasternak previously commented on her slim physique:

“Believe it or not she has this really fast metabolism. With her it’s really about she’s eating enough of the right things. People thought ‘Oh she must be anorexic,’ but she’s far from that!”

Now, Megan eats “a bit of everything” and works out three times a week.

What do you think of her new curves?
