Marc Anthony has filed for divorce from Jennifer Lopez, citing the inevitable “irreconcilable difference” as the reason behind their split.
In papers filed on April 9th in L.A. County Superior Court, Marc asks for joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s 4-year-old twins, Max and Emme.
He also wants to deny Jennifer spousal support, that’s if she were to ask (though we’re sure she’ll manage just fine…).
Marc and Jennifer split back in July after nearly 8 years of marriage.

Russell Brand and Katy Perry did not have a prenup, meaning they’re each entitled to 50% of everything they earned during their 14-month marriage.
According to Forbes, Katy made $44 million over that time span, so Russell could earn a pretty penny in their divorce.
Surprisingly enough, the British comedian doesn’t want her money.
One source says:
“This divorce is as amicable as it gets, and Russell was a mensch (Yiddish for a good person).”
Russell’s lawyer filed final divorce papers on Tuesday, but the divorce won’t be made official until June 30th due to the 6 month waiting period.

Kris Humphries isn’t making this divorce so easy on his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian.
According to sources, Kris’ lawyer Lee Hutton wants to prove Kim just married the NBA player for “big ratings on her reality show”.
Wierd thing is, Kris and Lee will allegedly ask the judge to allow TV stations to broadcast the trial.
Kim filed divorce papers back in October, listing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind their split. Kris is trying to get the marriage annulled based on fraud.
TMZ reports Kris may have no ground to stand on because:
1.) The prenup between Kim and Kris is “extremely long and complicated” , indicating that she intended to stay in it for the long-run
2.) Kris proposed to HER
3.) He’s been made (semi) famous and marketable, giving him the chance to make millions of dollars
Seems like unecessary drama. Many of us thought the Kardashian Klan would make Kris look like the bad guy on Kourtney and Kim Take New York this season, but that wasn’t the case at all.
To be honest, they showed the good and bad on both sides of the relationship. Things just didn’t work out for these two!

Kim Kardashian co-hosted Live! With Kelly yesterday, where she opened up about the backlash she received after filing for divorce from Kris Humphries.
Despite various reports, the socialite insisted she made no money from her televised wedding.
Kim said:
“If you really think about (it), if this was a business decision and I really made all that money that everyone was claiming that we made off this wedding, and if the wedding was fake and just for TV – I’m a smart businesswoman, I would have stayed married longer. This was a bad business decision. If you really think about it, it doesn’t make sense that everyone says that. I really didn’t think that following my heart would create this much backlash.”
So…it must be hard for the 31-year-old to watch her relationship unravel on the current season of Kourtney and Kim Take New York, right? Think again! Kim actually finds it “therapeutic”.

They decided to pull the plug on their marriage, but that doesn’t mean things are about to get messy for Seal and Heidi Klum
In an interview airing Friday on Tavis Smiley on PBS, Seal explains:
“In terms of our love and respect for each other, it hasn’t changed at all. And I think that when two people feel that way about each other, it is easy – it is easier to make that transition.”
Adding that their children “are our first priority”, the singer says:
“What one has to do in this situation is remain civil and to retain one’s dignity and to be professional and to understand that we are not the only people on this planet that go through this. It is just unfortunately a chapter of life.”

According to TMZ, Heidi Klum is set to file for divorce from Seal.
The supermodel is said to be submitting divorce papers in L.A. County Superior Court as early as next week, and will cite “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind their split.
The couple, who married in May 2005, has three biological children together - Lou, Henry and Johan.
Seal also adopted Heidi’s oldest daughter Leni from a previous relationship.
We didn’t see this one coming!

Brody Jenner and Avril Lavigne have ended their two-year relationship.
A source told Star magazine:
“Brody and Avril aren’t engaged any longer. Things weren’t working out between the two of them. They decided to go their separate ways.”
The insider went on to explain:
“[They] go through incredible highs and lows in their relationship and recently things have taken a nosedive. They are just taking things day by day before making any life changing decision.”
Another person added:
“They got cold feet. I don’t think this is the end. It sounds like they are just taking a break for now. I’m sure they’ll work it out and get back together.”
We didn’t even know they were set to tie the knot! It’s hard to keep love alive in Hollywood.

Mena Suvari has filed for divorce from her husband, concert promoter Simone Sestito.
The actress submitted papers today in L.A. County Superior Court, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind their split.
Mena is trying to prevent Simone from getting spousal support.
She would also like to change her name from Mena Suvari-Sestitoback to Mena Suvari.
This is the second divorce for the 32-year-old, who ended her marriage to cinematographer Robert Brinkmann back in 2005.
