Lady Gaga’s new album, ‘Born This Way’, is on track to score the highest opening sales figures in a decade! It is anticipated to sell more than one million copies in its first week, surpassing Adele for the number one spot on the Billboard 200.
In order to set a new record, Gaga would need to dish out more than 1.88 million units to top ‘N Sync’s ‘Celebrity’ sales back in 2001.
Could the high numbers be because Amazon priced ‘Born This Way’ at 99 cents for the first two days of release? Mostly likely!
Final sale results will be released on Wednesday.

Sean Penn was spotted leaving a Malibu Ranch Market store at Zuma Beach Plaza yesterday afternoon.
The actor is rumored to be dating Scarlett Johansson, but has the flame already died? The duo has been out on several PDA filled rendezvous, but Sean was recently chatting up a storm with lady friends at the Cannes Film Festival.
Though a source insists they’re still a couple, there’s reportedly been “some tension” lately.
What do you think of Sean and Scarlett together? It still seems like such an odd coupling!

People magazine reports that Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge are set to attend next week’s 10th Absolute Return for Kids gala dinner, to benefit the Foundation for Princes William and Harry.
This will be the couple’s first official public event since returning from their honeymoon in the Seychelles. Taking place on June 9th, William and Kate’s appearance will be in recognition of “ARK’s work and achievements on behalf of children around the world as the charity commemorates its 10th year.”
William is expected to announce a collaboration between his foundation and ARK. Back in 2009, he and Harry set up a charity that funds causes for underprivileged children and wounded servicemen.

Fashionista’s for sure, the mother-daughter duo sported heels as they ran around on the sand.

Snooki was taken into custody in Florence, Italy on Monday after crashing into a police car. A source close to production on Jersey Shore told TMZ:
“Zero alcohol was involved.”
When Snooki hit the patrol car she got stuck between the vehicle and a wall. Her co-star Deena was riding passenger and had to climb through the window to get out!
Nobody was injured and word is Snooki wasn’t formally arrested.

Adrianne Curry and Christopher Knight separated on their fifth wedding anniversary, their manager said in a statement:
“After starting a relationship with what seemed to be irreconcilable differences, the couple has reached a period where those differences are no longer appreciated. The decision was mutually reached after it became clear to both that some perspective was needed in order to assess their unique union.”
The couple met on the fourth season of VH1’s The Surreal Life back in 2004 and married two years later.
