Katy Perry is donating proceeds from her new single, Part of Me, to an arts charity.
After she debuted the song at the Grammy Awards last weekend, the song made its way into the top 10 list on iTunes.
With its popularity on the rise, Katy decided to take the profits and give them to the MusiCares Foundation.
She writes:
“My proceeds of Part Of Me from Itunes & others will go to one of my favorite charities for the arts, Musicares.”
MusiCares is a charity that assists struggling musicians.
What a great cause!

Beyonce Knowles gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy Carter just last month, but she already has plans to return to the studio.
Producer Ryan Tedder, who wrote the singer’s hit Halo, told The boombox.com:
“The conversations about her next album literally just started and there are two projects happening. All I can say is you kind of feed her the best that you have and she’s this phenomenal filter and she takes it all in.”
One of the projects is said to be the soundtrack for Clint Eastwood’s remake of A Star Is Born, in which Beyonce is in talks to be the female lead for.

After winning SIX awards on Sunday night at the Grammy’s, you’d think Adele would take a well-deserved break.
Despite telling Vogue she wasn’t going to put out a record for four or five years, the singer decided she couldn’t wait.
She wrote on her blog:
“I’ve a few days off now, and then it’s the Brit Awards here at home and then I’m straight into the studio. BOYYAHH! 5 years? More like 5 days!”
Adele also called the Awards show “the most incredible” night of her life.
We can’t wait to hear more music from her! She’s so talented.

Reese Witherspoon ‘s movie, This Means War, hasn’t been receiving the best reviews from critics.
Co-starring Chris Pine and Tom Hardy, this action-comedy-romance follows two Cia agents who begin a dating war after they realize they’re seeing the same woman.
Todd McCarthy of the Hollywood Reporter called the film “perfectly dreadful”.
Meanwhile, in a review written for Variety, Peter Debruge called out the two male leads:
“This screwball premise lives or dies by the chemistry between Pine and Hardy, who are too busy trying to out-appeal one another to make the buddy dynamic click.”

Kim Kardashian may be single this Valentine’s Day, but that doesn’t mean that love’s not in the air.
The socialite was spotted having lunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel last weekend with ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush, a source reveals.
Although the two are just friends (for now), there’s no telling what their future may hold.
The insider explains:
“They don’t know what will happen. They’re taking it slow. They love each other so much and miss each other, but their relationship is so complicated. Things are up in the air. Kim very much wants to take her time and be single and heal from her divorce.”
Kim announced her split from Kris Humphries last October after just 72 days of marriage.
We always secretly hoped she and Reggie would give it another shot!

Demi Lovato changed her hairstyle yet again, sharing a photo of her new ‘do on twitter.
Lovato wrote:
“Thank you SO much Nine Zero One salon for my new locks.”
Going from red to blonde was an 11 hour process at the salon. She later added:
“Haha Demi Blondevato is a trending topic?!! Y’all are funny!”
Do you like Demi as a brunette, red-head, or a blonde? She seems to be able to pull them all off!

Looks like Lindsay Lohan needs to get her hands on a new accountant!
According to documents filed yesterday at the L.A. County Recorder’s Office, Lindasy Lohan never paid federal income taxes in 2010.
The grand total she owes for that year? $140,203.30!
On top of that amount, the actress still needs to pony up the $93,701.57 she was supposed to pay in 2009 .
No comment from Lindsay’s camp on the matter.
This may be where all that Playboy money comes in handy!

You would never know Adele underwent throat surgery in November 2011, as she did a beautiful job belting out her #1 hit, “Rolling in the Deep” at the Grammy Awards last night.
So well, in fact, that she got a standing ovation from the audience for nearly 30 seconds.
